Alexis learned how to crawl out of her jumper a while ago. I finally got the progression on camera. First she leans forward, legs still strapped down.
Then she maneuvers one leg...
One leg out..maneuver the second one..
And she's out!
She likes to use her bouncer as a chair rather than a relaxing, lay-back, bouncer.

She would lean forward, hands down, then pick up her hand, put it down, pick it up, put it down, then sit up and shake her head!
First bath with ALL of them!
I can't believe that in just two very short months Alexis will be turning 1 year old! It just amazes me! I think this year of her life has gone by faster than the others first years! Alexis crawls everywhere. She will stand up for around 30 seconds but likes to lean forward to Cory or me. She still walks along all of the furniture and will walk holding our hands. If she is down in the basement she makes a beeline to the stairs and wants to just crawl all over them! When we are upstairs she makes a beeline to the stairs to try and go down them..so it's a no win situation! We keep her in her jumper more than we would like to! She has been able to get out of her bouncer for quite a while now and has actually climbed out of her jumper once! Alexis says, "Dada," "Mama," "Nononono," "Bubba," "Whoa," and, "Go!" She drops or throws things and screams, "WHOA!" She also says it if she bonks her head! She is a chatterbox just talking all the time! She still waves and claps all the time! Alexis is still our famous lil dancer! Since she was just a couple months old she would "dance" whenever she heard music and she still does it! Alexis tried oatmeal for breakfast and just did not like it!! So she eats baby food for breakfast and lunch and usually has our food for dinner. She still likes the baby snacks like puffs, dried yogurt, etc., but she also likes regular crackers. She loves bananas!! Alexis will now feed herself our dinner food though so I get to eat with the kids and not after them! Alexis loves weird noises! She loves the sound of the bathwater and the vacuum running!! Which is really funny because all four of the older ones still cannot stand the vacuum! Alexis will dress herself, I just have to put it over her head and hold it out and she will slide her arms in. She also grabs her sleeves and pulls her arms out then either pushes her shirt down over her waist or up over her head! I thought it was so cute until she would wake up every nap and morning without her shirts on!! She is still in love with her bankie! She now has four teeth on bottom and two on top...with two more trying to come through! Alexis rather enjoys being the baby of the family and is always full of smiles!!! I love you Baby!
