Then at the end of March, my sister Joy came down from Idaho Falls. She told them that she had presents for them after they ate lunch. So after lunch she gave them out.
Here's Gage waiting patiently..
Next, we got a package from Aunt Jean. She saw these adorable books and bought one for each of the kids. They are these super cool foam books! Love them!

My dad and Tate came down for Easter weekend. They brought down presents from my mom who was unable to make it. The kids loved the big bags they were in and of course the presents and candy!!

Haylee would get irritated if someone came over to her bag because she thought they would take something!

Gage and Taya got a fishing game, a bathtime book each, and those super cool crayons in that picture. Gage got that drum (which he was instantly attached to..he had it on all day..except for coloring and eating, and slept with it!) Taya got a ribbon for rhythmic dancing and she loved it and does it awesome!! Haylee and Peyton got water animal families to play with in the bath!
EASTER MORNING!
All of our bedrooms are upstairs and we put a gate up so they can't go downstairs. They walk into our rooms and wake us up. Well, I have known that Gage can figure out how to knock down the gate because he has done it once before after bathtime. Anyway, today of all days he decides to do that instead of coming to get us. I hear them playing downstairs. And just like my dad said, Gage took all of the grass and candy and bunnies out of his basket (which was Lightening McQueen) and just played with that...Taya wanted the candy...Haylee the fluffy bunny...and Peyton the moveable bunny! To each his own huh!

Gage actually let Taya play his drum!!

She found the princesses on her basket!

We found these q-tip things that had the dye in them. You snapped one end and the dye went into the other..then you paint with them. I LOVE them and wish we had just used those because Gage and Taya loved them!!
The final products! (See the two dye-tye looking ones..those are the ones they did with the q-tip things..love!!)
DYING EGGS!
After all was said and done...

(Right at the LAST egg she spilled the blue cup!)

We thought 12 or so eggs would be just fine..we didn't think they would really do the egg hunt..but they went right out and got right into it! They LOVED it!!

EASTER OUTFITS!!
The girls each got a cute summer dress and Gage got some cute church clothes! (We also put those little stick-on earrings on the girls..they loved them and actually..and surprisingly..kept them on all day!!)
Taya and Daddy!
EASTER EGG HUNT!!
Tate's counting the eggs...

EASTER DINNER AND FAMILY!
Grandpa and Taya
Tate and Gage
After playing a bit, we put the kids down for a nap. Once they woke, they wanted to play outside so we took them out..and of course they brought their baskets.
We only hid 15 eggs but were thinking we were one short for a few minutes so at the end of the egg hunt they were looking for that last one..and this time when we went out they thought it was still out there and were looking for it for a while.

They were telling Daddy to come play!
Gage and Taya (especially Taya) LOVE to run. They will go outside and just run back and forth for hours! They LOVE it! They did this for a SUPER long time today!
They were excited for Haylee, Peyton, Daddy, and Grandpa Wardell to come play.

If you know Gage..he has a thing for pockets and had to try running with his hand in his.
They would line up against the fence, count to ten, ready set go, then run across the yard to the other fence..and back and forth and back and forth forever!

I always get pics with her outside because she HATES to be cold so she comes to get warmed up before she goes and plays again.
