Family hike

(May 31st, 2012)

The first family hike of the season!!!  We packed a lunch and as we were putting it in the backpack Gage mentioned that he had his own backpack to put his stuff in.  We explained to them that if they wore their backpacks they were wearing them and packing them the entire time then let them decide.  Gage, Taya, and Peyton wanted to pack their own.  Haylee did not!

They thought this tree was just AWESOME!!!!

We got to where we were eating and hung out for a bit!

 We happened to be at a Search and Rescue practice area.  Gage thought it was SO cool and just had to have a picture with it!

 Had to hit the tree on the way back down!!

We even had a time out in the middle of the trail due to a massive fit!

 All finished and SO much fun!!!!
