Wardell Wonders: Reunion!!

Cory's family has three reunions each year (well usually two but now they are starting their third). One is just Cory's parents and their kids and families. The second is Cory's Grandparents on down. The last is Cory's great-grandparents on down. Anyway, this is the middle one!!

This year, they were renting a campsite for Friday night. We understood there to be one huge cabin for everyone (which is LOTS of people), so we got a hotel. Turns out the reunion was at Heber Valley Campground. It's HUGE and used for Girl's Camp. There are different campsites within the campground and each site has six smaller sites. They have 3-4 cabins at each little site. It was a really nice place!!

We headed out that Friday. We checked in to the hotel and went to find the campground!

Once there, we had time to run around and eat lunch. We hung out with family then had a little presentation. After that, and more visiting, it was almost 11. We headed for the hotel..in which all 4 kids fell asleep in route! We took them in and put them straight to bed.

Charity has a BEAUTIFUL baby girl, Hannah, (which was the3rd name we were deciding between when we had Haylee and Peyton!) and Gage gave her loves. She wasn't too happy about it though! I'm sorry Hannah!!

When we got back to the campground, they were headed out! There was a ropes course we got to take part in. I have a crazy fear of falling so I didn't do the climbing and hangliding part and I watched the kids (with lots of help from all the family!) during the other parts, but was able to be part of the planning! After lunch, there was paddleboats we could go on. Our kids were sleepy and Gage needed a butt change once we got to the lake, so we went back to the campsite and let them play before heading out.

There was a web course. You had to get from one side to the other by going through the openings. There were different sizes of holes. Once it was either touched or used correctly it was off limits. At one point, we lifted people through holes. They would lay flat on their back, hands outstretched straight above their heads and feet completely straight. After seeing this once or twice, Gage wanted a turn. Cory's mom was holding him and he lay straight, hands above head and legs straight, just like the others! He was ready. They had him go through! He loved it!
