Happy 3rd Birthday!

The morning of Haylee and Peyton's birthday, the kids come running into my room.  "Mama, Mama, the fairy came to the room last night!"  I jumped right up and went to see!  My wonderful Janke nephews get visited by the Balloon Fairy on the eve of their birthday.  I love that idea..so I stole it and added a bit to create the Birthday Fairy.  Not only does the fairy leave balloons in their rooms and on their beds, but their room is also decorated with a birthday sign and streamers!  (Thank you Delcie!!)  They were SO excited!!!

Birthday girls!!!

I just cannot believe Haylee and Peyton are three years old!  That's just crazy to me!!  They haven't changed much in the last year..just older, taller, and smarter!!  Their personalities are still SO different from each other!


Haylee has grown very attached to her pink blanket.  She is also very attached to her Quack-Quack that she got for her first Christmas and her Monkey that she got when she was in the hospital!  She loves baby dolls and being a "mommy!"  She plays rough and tough wrestling with Gage but she is also very girlie and likes getting her hair and nails done.  She plays with Alexis SO much!  She still sleeps very well and loves going potty in the toilet!  She is excited to start Primary and Preschool! Haylee is a sweet girl who just loves everyone so much!  Haylee is the most "unexpected" when it comes to one-on-one time.  She actually talks a LOT and is a super goofball.  She loves goofing off and joking and making you laugh!  She holds that in sometimes when she's around everyone but in smaller groups or one-on-one she lets it out full force!


Peyton is still so different from all the others kids!  She is very independent.  She loves her siblings and loves playing with them but she needs her alone time more than any of the others.  Peyton likes to be independent but only on her terms.  If the others kids want to play just two of them and close the door she gets really mad and hates it.  But she likes to play alone..just only when she wants it and not when the others do!  She uses her imagination a lot too.  She loves art, and Barbies and horses are her absolute favorite things to play with.  She loves her babies but Barbies are her thing!  She loves getting her nails painted and her hair curled. Peyton LOVES makeup!  She loves her alone time but always seems to need to feel that we approve of whatever she does.  She thrives on making Cory and I happy with her.  She is a complete chatterbox one-on-one.  She will talk nonstop! 


They have become closer in the past year.  They seem to be developing that bond and I'm loving seeing them as best friends!

(we did get pictures of them blowing their candles out and opening gifts..but..they were on Cory's phone so they are now nonexistent! :(  )
