A few days before Christmas, my sister Jennifer and her family and my sister Jana and her family came into Idaho Falls. It has been two years since our entire family has been together. I was SO excited!!

Later that night, a bunch of the adults were playing games upstairs at my parent's house. All the kids except Haylee, Peyton, and Lennox were downstairs. They had a movie on and were all bundled up on the mattresses. Gage and Taya loved being around all the other kids (and I am sure Gage loved having boys around!)

We got a surprise visit from Santa! (Thank you again!!) Gage and Taya were so excited!!!

Cory and I had wanted to do Gingerbread Houses this year with Gage and Taya. We weren't sure how they would do. Mom and I were at the store and saw the Rice Crispie House. It is only one side, but we figured Gage and Taya would definately be more into that..and they actually eat Rice Crispie treats. So Mom bought some for those two and for Jennifer's boys to make. They all seemed to really enjoy it!

I made cookies for the older kids to decorate and leave out for Santa. Taya was all for it, Javien, Kassius, and Tytus did great, but I think Gage was over the decorating..he just wanted to eat the M&M's (which is funny cause he's never had them before but he did NOT want to let them GO!)

Every year, we draw names for PJ's. We give them out on Christmas Eve. We start with the youngest then go with who they had and so forth. I LOVE doing PJ's!!
Haylee was sleepy but she knew there was tons of excitement around her and didn't want to miss any of it! Taya's cookies for Santa!

Taya saw the presents and was getting a little annoyed that she couldn't open them! (Notice the nails..yeah I painted hers, Haylee's, and Peyton's! So fun!!)
Peyton was just NOT going to wait! She tore right into Scott's gift for someone else! (I guess that makes up for her falling asleep and missing her turn to open..right?!?!)
Taya was excited that presents were rolling!
This was Gage when it was his turn to get a present!
Tearing right into it! 
He was SO excited to see Santa on them!! 
Daddy's turn! His had wolves!! (and that's exactly where Peyton fell asleep!!)
Haylee's turn!! She got into it!

Gage thought he'd jump in and help her out!
She sure thought they were pretty cool PJ's!
We had talked Gage into waiting, but once Taya saw PJ's, she wanted them on...we had no choice in the matter..she started undressing and dressing herself! Here she is showing them off!
So we put Gage's on him too and he loved showing them off!
Tate and Graison got the same pair..by two different people!

Gage thought she looked so pretty and needed a kiss..she was tired and not in the mood!

After everyone has their PJ's on, we do a Night Before Christmas game. There are prizes in brown paper bags...no one knows what they are except the person that did the prize. We read the story and each time the word "and" is spoken, you pass the bag to your left. Whatever bag you end up with is your prize. Sometimes there are different prizes and sometimes they are the same. This year Jennifer made marshmallow guns! They were so much fun!!
Gage thought they were so cool..even though he didn't know what it was!
Taya was definately into the marshmallows!
Jana just could not get her's to shoot farther than her lap!
